All 3 guardians after my recent “painting_1.04.fix” Patch.

On on the 3rd Guardian, after much swearing and hair pulling, the result became Ok.   Thanks Daz for some good tips

 The army however will change to a mix of Craftworld colours, Ulthwe black primed goodness here we come!

 Anyway, the result I hope to replicate for the remainder of this troop squad is below.

Finished! Well it was until I noticed the Blue smudges around the shoulders! Fixed now

 Only 19 more of them to go.  I expect by 2010 the army will be painted.

Assembly complete!

 Well, apart from the lid for the board, but that doesn’t count!

2 Jetbikes to go – then on with the painting!

No new pics since some of us are having more fun than others at the moment……

But, Progress has been made!

What was already completed:

• Harlequins (8 inf)
• Dire Avengers (10 inf)
• Warlocks (3 HQ)
• Farseer (1HQ)
• Dark Reapers (5 Inf)
• Warp Sspiders (5 inf)
• Falcon (1 tank)
• 1 x Jetbike (1 bike!)
• 2 x Support platform (embedded in guardian squads)
• The board!

New additions! (still need priming and texture for bases)

• Guadian Squad (10 inf)
• Incomplete Guardian Squad (7 inf)

To be done:

• 3 x Jetbikes
• 1 x Vyper
• 3 x Guardians
• Tree board (small)

Guardians will be finished this week, Jetbikes will probably be done by the end of the coming weekend.  Hopefully textures + priming will be done as well.  Vyper for the following weekend!

Decided to add some color! Board painted and sealed, will add some static grass (sparingly) when I find the right color. Also did some basing / priming plus guardian weapon platforms completed.

To do:

20 x guardians

1 x Vyper

3 x Jetbikes

1 x Tree board (next to falcon)

Lid for the Board (MDF + Perspex)

Paint them all!

Once 10 of the guardians are done, I will have a workable 1500-1750 army list.

W/lord fully assembled. To be done: Texture to base (sparingly), magnets to base then Prime / paint. The latter in many months time!

 To be added: Flamers, wrist / shoulder blades (depending where I mount flamers!) and possibly a Brightlance (may look to cluttered) + other clothing pieces yet to be decided.  

Plus 1 jetbike built and remaining avengers now constructed.

course, i will also have to worry about a lid – which looks like being sheets of perspex mounted into a wooden frame that will sit on top and strap on somehow
